his is an old Amish tomato named after Brandywine Creek in Chester County, PA. Red Brandywine Heirloom Tomatoes have vigorous vines and produce tomatoes that consistently win contests for the best tomato flavour. The fruit are large with an interesting shape and ripen later in the in season. This is one of the varieties that helped bring about the comeback of the delicious old fashioned heirloom tomatoes.
