With the ever increasing cost of fresh fruits and vegetables and the increasing insecurity of our food system, more and more, customers are growing their own food. Is there anything better than going outside and picking what you need for dinner at the garden grocery store. There is nothing better than the taste of freshness. Growing vegetables and fruits also reduces your carbon footprint. The only footprint will be the ones you make to the garden when you harvest from your own garden.
We offer the tried and true, think tomatoes and cucumbers, to some that you might not expect. Looking for something out of the ordinary? Contact us and ask. If we don't grow it we have several sources throughout the province and may be able to find it.
For 2020 we are growing some really exciting veggies. Susan has developed a love (or perhaps an obsession) of veggie gardening. With that, she has researched and sourced seeds from all over North America. These seed growers are family owned and operated and ethical in their practices. These are some of the varieties we are growing for 2021
Cal Wonder Yellow
King of the North
Table King Acorn
Baby Blue Hubbard
